Competition Rules
Boat competitions
- Perrins Cup....
- Most Species....
- Uptide shield...
- Cod Competition.
One rod in the water at a time although more than one rod can be set up.
This is mainly for saftey reasons.
Other boat trips will be as normal where more than one rod
can be used.
But this means use your discretion.
If the boat is crowded and tangles
are a big problem think about how many rods you can handle.
E.G when we are wreck fishing or drift fishing, one rod is not only sensible but safer.
Beach Competitions
Two rods only to be used during competitions.
Other beach trips more than two rods can be used.
Hooks
During all competitions a maximum of four hooks total to be used between rods.
With a maximum of three hooks to one rod.
These rules cover all trips organised by and for the club.
