Steve with a super reef conger estimated at between 50-60lb.(Weighed 5hrs later 53lb.08oz).
Two minutes left and Steve gets bitten off and says is it worth going
down again someone calls remember the five min rule so he rebaits and down it goes.
Instantly he gets a bite and its all over now as he reels in a fish esitmated at 12lb
which takes his total to 104lb.(6 eels) Winning the championship also the pool for heaviest bag
and pool for biggest fish well done Steve.

Two very big pouting were also caught (when using mackerel flapper they had to be big).
The club record broken twice. First by Tristen with a fish of 3lb.04oz then dad Nigel
stealing his glory with a fish of 3lb.07oz.

7 members using live eels boated 23 Bass amongst a catch of Pollack Pouting
and lots of Mackeral.
Plymouth June 30th-1st July B C C championships.
23 eels caught between the two teams, one team just beaten for second place
by one eel.

Conditions good with the first live eels of the year.
77 Pollack up to 8lb with a lot being returned. Mark 19 Pollack.Phil 16 Pollack.Tony 15 Pollack.
Mark and Tony also had a nice Bass each.
A number of Pout and plenty of Mackerel were also caught.
A good trip returning to port with more than the total catch of another
three boats out that day.

This was meant to be the time for the Plaice but the water was very dirty
and they did not read the book. A few were caught but two poor trips.

45 Cod. Two over 10lb biggest 15lb 8oz
30 Conger eels biggest 36lb 8oz
Lots of Pout, L.s.d and a few Rays up to 10lb
Conditions not too good but fishing made up for the weather.
